Get more power with less weight with the new John Deere R4044 Sprayer. The R4044 gives you the acre-eating productivity of an R4045 Sprayer in a machine that is 9-percent lighter. The R4044 features a 1,200-gallon tank and boom widths up to 132 feet with a carbon fiber boom option. The ExactApply™ nozzle control system and integrated John Deere precision ag technology help you get the job done right, while the industry’s most comfortable cab helps you avoid fatigue.
The 1,200-gallon tank of the R4044 allows you to cover 9 more acres per hour than sprayers with a 1,000-gallon tank. The 9-percent weight reduction allows you to get in the field sooner with a better-balanced sprayer.
The John Deere ExactApply™ Nozzle Control System helps you cover more of your crop with greater precision. With triple the pulse rate modulation of other nozzles, ExactApply™ gives you a more consistent droplet size from each nozzle at all sprayer speed ranges – enabled by a more constant spray pressure, making sure every droplet does its job. With ExactApply™ you can vary the rate across the entire boom to greatly reduce input costs and possible crop damage while assuring the right spray rate even as you make a turn.
The built-in Turn Compensation feature automatically varies the application rate across the entire boom, reducing both your input costs and the risk of crop damage from over- or under-application. ExactApply features LED lighting on each nozzle and if a nozzle gets clogged, the nozzle plug detection feature tells you which nozzle needs attention.
Go beyond steel to the next frontier of boom sprayers. Introducing our carbon fiber booms. Designed to meet your need for a lighter, more productive sprayer, carbon fiber delivers higher productivity with a lower boom wing weight. Available in 120- and 132-ft. widths, this boom is the perfect solution whether you’re working row crops, small grains or specialty crops.
As weed resistance becomes more of an issue, you might find yourself making more passes through the field, both pre- and post emerge.
Carbon fiber is significantly lighter weight than traditional steel booms, reducing boom wing weight by 39% and 35% (with the 120- and 132-ft. booms, respectively). This weight reduction serves to save your soil and sustain your yield. What’s more is that the front-to-rear machine weight balance is improved by 6%, improving in-field performance and allowing you to cover more acres.
And speaking of increasing productivity, the 132-ft. boom touts 8% more acres covered per day. This is crucial during those tight application windows when you need to cover as much ground as possible.
So why did we choose carbon fiber? The material itself is pretty remarkable. Incredibly strong and durable, it’s also easy to clean and corrosion resistant. We’ve removed 80% of painted steel, increasing the corrosion resistance in areas that are susceptible to contact with corrosive agents. Overall, carbon fiber is your answer when looking for a high-functioning, low-maintenance material.
AutoTrac™ Vision guidance solution detects the location of the crop in the row and signals AutoTrac to steer precisely between the rows in early-season corn, soybeans and cotton at least 4-6 inches high. Spraying on target lets you increase sprayer speeds from 14-18 mph, allowing you to cover more than 20% more acres every day. AutoTrac™ RowSense uses a paddle mounted to the front wheel of your sprayer to feel mature corn stalks in late-season rows. The paddle feels its way down straight 30-in. rows and uses input adjust signals to steer the wheels accordingly. Just like AutoTrac™ Vision, AutoTrac™ RowSense lets you spray faster covering more than 20% more acres each day.
Running over the row for even one second at 15 mph will take out more than 90 corn plants, which can really add up over a day. The AutoTrac™ system can help you stay on track, reducing risk of crop damage, while allowing you to cover more acres each day.
Hagie Manufacturing developed the first self-propelled sprayer, front-mounted boom, and high-clearance nitrogen toolbar. Today, Hagie specializes in providing the market with new solutions for evolving farming needs. Their products provide full-season capabilities; for example, their Nitrogen Toolbar (NTB) allows you to make application decisions later in the season, based on growing conditions. This helps increase nitrogen use efficiency since it allows nutrients to be applied when the plant needs them most, as well as helping in “rescue” situations. Hagie provides a robust product portfolio with the DTS10, STS10, STS12, STS14 and STS16 models providing a variety of options for operators.
John Deere offers you an extensive portfolio of products and services on Hagie machines to fit your operational needs. With our AutoTrac™/ GreenStar™ field conversion kits, you’ll gain access to our Precision Ag technology on Hagie sprayers. This strategic partnership delivers the same world-class dealer support you’ve come to expect from your John Deere dealer and applies them to a broader portfolio of products, ensuring your needs are met every step of the way.
SKnowledge is power, and more data helps you make better decisions. But how do you use all that data? JDLink™ Connect and John Deere Operations Center are your answers. You also have the ability to share this data with trusted advisors to receive additional insights, and to send variable rate prescriptions to your machine.
You can get data-driven insights at your fingertips anytime, anywhere with our MyOperations™ App. This mobile app connects you to in-cab displays and provides field productivity information, weather and fuel level data.
The high-capacity 330 cu-ft. dry spinner spreader is capable of 60- to 90-ft. spread widths, allowing you to deliver higher volumes of N, P, K and lime to replenish the soil and feed your crop. It also has an optional 70-ft. Air Boom with a 300-cu. ft. capacity. The F4365 helps you cover more ground in less time to hit ever-shrinking application windows and provide the durability you rely on to get the job done. The dual C-channel frame design, coupled with leaf springs and dampers, helps absorb the impact of loads during application and protect the rest of the machine and operator from torsion and vibrations. The F4365 showed a 30% better ride quality than the leading competitive 4-wheel machine, according to test results. The extra comfort and ease of use give you a boost in productivity.
Capture, manage and transfer data more efficiently with the 4600 CommandCenter™ display at your fingertips in the CommandView™ III cab.
